What is Huawei HiCar Certification?

Huawei HiCar is Huawei's phone-car interconnection solution. Products that carry the HiCar logo — head units, aftermarket screens, docking stations and audio systems — must pass HiCar certification before they may use the trademark and enter the Huawei ecosystem channel.

How long does HiCar certification take?

Typical projects take 3–6 weeks including scheduling, testing and Huawei review. Pre-scan results determine whether a second test round is needed.

What samples are required?

One golden sample per hardware revision, plus a test phone from the supported Huawei model list and any required cables or docking adapters.

Can you test aftermarket head units?

Yes. We certify both factory-installed head units and aftermarket portable or dockable devices under the HiCar program.

Do you support certification transfer from an existing report?

In most cases an existing HiCar test report can be reused if the hardware revision and software version match; we will confirm during scoping.
