What is CE RED Certification?
The Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU governs radio equipment placed on the EU market. Compliance requires meeting essential requirements for safety (LVD/62368-1), EMC, radio spectrum efficiency, and where applicable health and cybersecurity provisions.

Is a notified body required for CE RED?
For most radio products self-declaration with our accredited test report is sufficient; some product families still require a notified body. We confirm during scoping.
How long does CE RED certification take?
Typically 3–5 weeks including testing and documentation. Combined CE RED + FCC projects run in parallel.
Do you support the RED cybersecurity requirements?
Yes. We assess readiness for the RED delegated acts on network protection and privacy, effective from August 2025.
Can you update an existing R&TTE certificate?
R&TTE directives have been superseded by RED; we re-validate and issue RED documentation for existing products.
